A win will see them promoted but it won't be easy without legendary opening bowler Jamie Hignett and devastating batsman and part time bodyguard to Taylor Swift, Chris Gordon.

However the return of big hitting slimming champion Josh Coghlan and the all rounder abilities of BFG Matt Pennington alongside the precocious talents of juniors Zach Green and Daniel Woods will still make Widnes a formidable side.
